Conversation classes: for anyone who has studied Italian before and would like to improve their speaking skills.

Classes are 1 1/2 hours in length and will be held on:

Thursday evenings: 7pm beginning Feb 12. Cost $150 for a ten week term.

Interpretazione della Divina Commedia - 2 hour classes on Thursdays at 5pm. Cost $200 per ten week term Classes begin Feb 5.

Teacher of these two classes, Mrs Adriana Diomedi, is a native speaker.

All classes will be held at the Society' office at 308 Drummond St Carlton.

All enrolments are to be registered with the Honorary Secretary of the Society Anna Cavedon by ringing 9432 5688 after hours or leave a message and your call will be returned a.s.a.p. Payments for the term are to be made in full at the first lesson. We also suggest that students join the Society to enhance what is done in the classes.

VCE CONVERSATION and GRAMMAR CLASSES FOR 2004

All students wishing to attend classes are asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday March 2^nd at the Dante Office 308 Drummond St Carlton to allow the teacher/s to sort students and organize classes.
there will be 13 lessons in each semester at a cost of $195 which should be paid in full to the class teacher the first week of classes.
Each class is of 11/2 hours duration
Classes start the week beginning March 15^th (There will be no classes during school holidays)
Classes will be held at the Society’s office 308 Drummond St Carlton
Classes have a limit of 8 students
In semester 1, classes will consist of general conversation in preparation for the oral exam and in semester 2, they will focus on the detailed study.

In both semesters students will be exposed to language and techniques which will assist them in presenting well at oral exams

Students enrolled in semester 1 will be given priority for semester
Class times may be altered slightly to accommodate students however this needs to be discussed with the class teacher at the first lesson.
Only one Grammar class will be held. The time and day of this class will be determined at the meeting March 2.
